After completing the primary level, students move on to the secondary level. This level of education is usually known as high school or secondary school.
High school is a stage at which the student learns to build on his or her basic educational skills. At this level, students learn to use grammar and sentences in their writing. They also learn about literature, geography, and history.
9 to 18 years old students usually start in this level of education. They receive academic and vocational training at this level.
This level of education focuses on developing intellectual skills and opportunities. It prepares the students for their further education.
3. Higher Education
After completing the secondary level of education, a student becomes eligible for higher education in colleges and universities. This level of education is also known as tertiary education.
Here a student gets his or her bachelor’s degree. Students receive academic, practical, and research-based training at this level. Students spend about 2 to 5 years studying at this level to receive a professional degree.
At this stage of learning, students learn to study in groups, work on research and analyze complex problems.
4. Master’s and Ph.D. Degree
Most students who have received their bachelor’s degree go for higher studies to get themselves a master’s degree or a Ph.D. degree.
At this level, the student learns about research-based education. This level requires some years of study and research. Students generally receive their master’s degree after 2 to 4 years and their Ph.D. after 4 to 5 years of study and research.
With these degrees, your child can start a professional career in various fields. With that, you can expect your child to become more professional than before.
What is the Highest Level of Education?
Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy). This is the highest level of education attainable.
So, if you’re at least a Ph.D., your child has a good chance of being accepted into the highest level of education. This is what most people mean when they say, “highest level“.
But a bachelor’s degree is also considered to be the highest level of education. Why?
Because when it comes to jobs like business, law, or accounting to name a few, it is necessary to have at least a bachelor’s degree.
During the job, if you gain Ph.D. Degree, your salary will increase. Plus, in the future, you can get a promotion. This is where a Ph.D. Degree shows its worth.

What Level of Education is Necessary for a Job?
Many companies demand a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education.
However, this is not true for all companies. Companies such as IBM and MasterCard do not demand a bachelor’s degree for employment.
These companies are known to hire individuals who only have a skills-based education.
But I prefer you to have at least a bachelor’s degree. If you have a Ph.D., It will be a plus.
